I am excited to announce that Kinetic Poetry is returning to Albright College this Fall on Sunday October 6!
What began as a unique combination of poetry and pole dancing, has grown into a theatrical experience which has expanded to other aerial and flow arts such as lyra, acro-yoga, poi and hoop. The theatrics of a Broadway show and aerial acrobatics of a Las Vegas cirque show are combined to bring Reading audiences a truly unique experience to remember. Kinetic Poetry will lead you into another world of breathtaking circus-style acrobatics and emotional spoken word.

For tickets, call the Albright Box Office at 610-921-7547 or purchase online at http://albright.universitytickets.com/user_pages/event.asp?id=305&cid=35 Surcharge free!

Tickets Prices:
$15 in advance
$20 at the doors
$10 for students with ID

The MC for the evening will be none other than the Diva herself–Roz Mays. Among her finest contributions to the pole world has been creating Dangerous Curves, the nation’s first plus size pole dancing competition. Her talents have lead to professional stunt work alongside Adam Sandler, as well as a Polesque championship in May 2011.

This year’s show will feature:

Noah Ayala, a local poet from Reading who’s inspiration and flow derives from hip-hop.

Perry “Vision” DiVirgilio, an accomplished poet, actor and teacher. As a poet, Vision was awarded the Alternative Soul award for best Spoken Word Performer and featured on CNN’s “Black in America 5″ hosted by Soledad O’Brien.

Flextacy Arts, a dynamic duo that performs on the ground and in the air. Acro-yoga and aerial hoop.

Glo, a flow artist who specializes in hoop and fire hoop.
