Ask For The Things You Want

Ask for what you want outta life. Whether it’s with your career, your relationships, or any other area of your life–it’s okay to be direct and to tell people what you want or need.

Here’s what we’re not gonna do: complain about not having something, if you never asked for it in the first place.

You can’t complain about not having the job of your dreams, if you never go for it or apply for it.

You can’t complain about not having enough time to yourself, if you never ask for the space.

You can’t complain to your besties about how your partner is being a jerk to you if you’ve never asked for respect in the first place.

Do you see what I’m getting at here? Remember tigress, you will never get what you want unless you are brave enough to ask for it. It’s time to take control of YOUR life and to start asking for what YOU want. That is much better energy spent than complaining. We’re not playing the victim here ladies, we are stronger than that!
